Volkswagen AG Chart Analysis
Volkswagen AG Analisi Tecnica
The technical analysis of the Volkswagen stock price chart on 4-hour timeframe shows #D-VOW,H4 is retracing down toward the 200-period moving average MA(200) after rebounding to nine-month high a week ago. We believe the bearish momentum will continue after the price breaches below the lower boundary of Donchian channel at 105.65. This level can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to sell. The stop loss can be placed above 109.85. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved every day to the next fractal high, following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level (109.85) without reaching the order (105.65), we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.
Analisi Fondamentale Azioni - Volkswagen AG
Volkswagen plans the release of new models for China market in 2026. Will the Volkswagen stock price resume advancing?
The joint venture of Volkswagen and FAW Group plans to launch 11 new Volkswagen and Jetta branded models for the China market from 2026. The new models include six electric vehicles, two plug-in hybrids, two extended-rangers and one gasoline. The joint venture said first Jetta-branded EV model will hit the market in 2026. Plans for launch of new car models are bullish for auto maker stock price. However, the current setup is bearish for Volkswagen stock price. The largest car manufacturer in the world by revenue is looking for ways to minimize the impact of expected extra costs of US tariffs on imports from Mexico. VW has a major plant in Puebla, Mexico which produces around two-thirds of the cars it sells in the United States. The company ruled out a last-minute move of Skoda and SEAT/CUPRA cars over to US and said last week that increasing production at the VW brand's US plant in Chattanooga would need "a bit more time." The expected impact of US tariffs on imports from Mexico is bearish for VW revenue and VW stock price.
