The LTCUSD technical analysis of the price chart on 1-hour timeframe shows LTCUSD,H1 is rebounding toward the 200-period moving average MA(200) after hitting 6-month low yesterday. We believe the bullish momentum will continue after the price breaches above 72.62. A level above this can be used as an entry point for placing a pending order to buy. The stop loss can be placed below 69.73. After placing the order, the stop loss is to be moved to the next fractal high , following Parabolic indicator signals. Thus, we are changing the expected profit/loss ratio to the breakeven point. If the price meets the stop loss level without reaching the order, we recommend cancelling the order: the market has undergone internal changes which were not taken into account.

LTCUSD is testing a local resistance at $72. Will the LTCUSD price rebound continue?
Litecoin (LTC) is cryptocurrency based on the Bitcoin protocol but differs in terms of the hashing algorithm used. Litecoin uses the memory intensive Scrypt proof of work mining algorithm which allows consumer-grade hardware such as GPU to mine those coins. Litecoin total supply and maximum supply remain capped at 84 million LTC, with 75.55 million already in circulation. LTC is trading near $72 currently after rebounding from over 15% drop in the last 24 hours that resulted in over 14% decline in market capitalization. A few days ago Litecoin activated the MWER update based on Mimblewimble protocol which improves privacy and scalability by concealing transfer amounts and shedding old transaction data. Last week Fidelity announced it has introduced new retirement accounts that allow US investors to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin in three different types of accounts: traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, and rollover accounts. Enhanced security through MWER protocol and inclusion of Litecoin in retirement account options are bullish for LTC price.
