USD/JPY resumed its climbing while AUD/USD reversed its advancing on Friday with the yen lower against the Greenback currently and the Australian dollar lower still.

US stock indexes futures are higher currently after ending mixed on Friday. The three main US stock benchmarks recorded daily returns in the range from -0.03% to 0.3% after the University of Michigan report showed consumer sentiment index tumbled 13 per cent in April to its lowest level since November.

European stock futures are up today after closing higher on Friday led by basic resources shares. Asian stock indexes futures are mostly rising today with Nikkei defying the trend as Bank of Japan cut the amount of Japanese government bonds it offered to buy in a regular operation, causing bond yields to rise.

Brent is retracing up currently. Prices ended lower on Friday while energy services firm Baker Hughes reported the total count of active US oil rigs was cut the third week in a row to the lowest since November. US West Texas Intermediate WTI fell 1.3% but is higher currently. Brent lost 1.3% to $82.79 a barrel on Friday. For the week, Brent declined 0.2% while WTI added 0.2%.
