Sum open positions
Window "Sum open positions" displays summary information on open positions for each financial instrument, taking into account that for each instrument (currency pair) can be opened for more than one position.
This window can be opened through the main window menu – View / Sum open positions.
This window contains following columns:
Instrument – the name of the financial instrument;
Volume 1 – the total (taking into account all selected) volume of opened positions in first currency pair;
Volume 2 – the total (taking into account all selected) volume of opened positions in second currency pair;
Volume 1 (lock) – the two sum volumes (shown via “/”sign) in first currency pair, first – is a sum of all BUY positions, second is a sum of all SELL positions;
Avg. rate – the average price of sum position opening (weighted average of all volumes due to the open price of all positions);
Cur. Price – the current price of financial instrument;
P/L sec. – the profit/loss (result) in second currency;
P/L bal. – the profit/loss (result) in balance currency.
Volumes are given with a sign. If it is a BUY, the first currency will have a “plus”, and the second will have a “minus”. If it is a Sell, the first currency will have a “minus”, and the second will have a “plus”. Plus will be shown only in Volume 1 (lock) column.
The last line in window – always shows the name of the instrument “Total” and sum result in balance currency over all financial instruments in “P/L bal.”
The set of selected instruments and visible columns can be customized via “Columns and rows” command of context menu. The column’s order can be changed by moving it to the needed place. The Columns’ width can be changed by dragging the edge of the column.
