Open positions

The “Open positions” window shows all the information over opened positions of financial instruments.

This window can be accessed through the main window menu – View/Open positions.

This window includes following columns:

  • Instrument – the name of the financial instrument;
  • Direction – the position direction (Buy or Sell);
  • Volume 1 – the volume in the first currency of the pair;
  • Volume 2 – the volume in the second currency of the pair;
  • Open rate – the price of position opening;
  • Current rate – the current price of financial instrument;
  • Profit/Loss sec. – the profit/loss (result) in second currency;
  • Stop loss – the price of attached order stop loss;
  • Take profit – the price of attached order take profit;
  • T/S distance - the mode “Trailing Stop distance”;
  • Last swap – the last accrual swap over this position;
  • Open time – the time of the position opening;
  • Deal ID – the server identification number of the position;
  • P/L pips - profit / loss (result) in pips of second currency pairs.

 

Volumes are given with a sign. If it is a Buy, the first currency will have a plus (“+”) and the second will have a minus (“-”). If it is a Sell the first currency will have a minus (“-”) and the second will have a plus (“+”).

The set of selected instruments and visible columns can be customized via the “Columns and rows” command of context menu. Column’s order can be changed by moving it to the needed place.

The column’s width can be changed by dragging the edge of the column.

This window shows only those financial instruments that have open positions over them.

Through the context menu of the selected financial instrument (right click on the line of the instrument) the following operations can be made:

  • Close position – open the dialog to close current position;
  • Position orders – open the dialog to modify the attached orders Stop-loss, Take-profit and set the mode “Trailing Stop distance”;
  • Unlock position – open the dialog to unlock a pair of positions (two rows with different directed positions must be marked);
  • Make deal – open the dialog to make deal (open position);
  • Chart – open a chart window;
  • Set order – open a dialog to set order;
  • Quick deal window - open the window of dialogue for quick deal;
  • Columns – allows for columns management;
  • Settings - call dialogue of setting terminal parameters;
  • Export grid - export the table in a file (in .csv format).
     

You can also close an opened position by opening context menu on selected financial instrument and then select “Close position” command.
